It is really interesting to me how she is recognised as an amazing artist after her death. I'm not saying she was not in life, but I also vividly remember the mockery, the humiliation, the stalking, the invasions of her privacy, the parodies she was on the receiving end of so much abuse and I cannot help but wonder if maybe, if this big love everyone has for her now, had been there when she was actually ALIVE - whether maybe things would have ended a little differently. If maybe she'd still be with us or have been with us a little bit longer. We don't know, but it seems no one feels at least a little bit guilty. No one seems to have learnt anything
